Availability, waiting lists and payment

Choose the lot or garage in the permit portal to see the monthly price, daily price and the remainder-of-month charge. Permits expire at month end. When a full location offers a permit and you are next on its waitlist, the system processes the purchase and emails a notification; charges apply.

The city accepts Visa, Mastercard, Interac debit, Discover and American Express. You may request an invoice a month ahead and pay in full by the first. An overdue invoice means the full daily parking rate applies. Corporate plans use their administrator and group invoice process.

Auto-renew, cancellation and multiple plates

New permits automatically renew at the start of later months until switched off or cancelled. Under Active Permits, use the renewal toggle or the Cancel action and confirm Yes. A newly active permit cannot be cancelled on its first day through that process; email staff for help. Future permits can be cancelled before activation.

Use Edit Permit and Add Plate to record up to three plates per account. Only one plate may be in the facility on a given day. Bringing another account vehicle on that same day incurs an extra posted daily maximum, even though the account holds multiple plates.

Gate recognition and the full portal list

At a camera-equipped gate, stop and allow the camera to read the clean, unobstructed plate. Leave room behind the vehicle ahead. If the gate fails, use the posted Call When Here number from the registered phone or use the intercom. Turn off caller-ID blocking for the phone feature.

The official page links 16 management entries: Queen Street South lot 7; Charles Street West lot 15; Transit lot 22; King Street East lot 23; Bramm Street Yards lot 24; Charles and Benton garage; Civic District garage; Duke and Ontario garage; Duke and Ontario reserved; Kitchener Market garage; City Hall garage; Water Street South lot 3; Ontario Street South lot 9; Green Street lot 12; Rotary lot 13; and Centre In The Square lot 19A.
