Five named sites and winter access

The official page names George Lippert, Idlewood, Kiwanis, McLennan and The Aud neighbourhood dog park. An earlier sentence still says four, but its explicit current list contains five. This directory preserves all five and records the count conflict.

Dogs must remain leashed elsewhere on park trails. At Kiwanis and George Lippert, parking lots are not maintained over winter. Take pet waste home if no bin is nearby; the city permits it in the home green bin.

Handler, child and dog restrictions

A responsible person aged at least 16 must accompany the dogs, keeping them in sight and under verbal control. Children under six cannot enter an off-leash area; an adult must supervise ages six to 15. No more than two dogs per handler are allowed.

Dogs need a municipal licence, current rabies vaccinations and tags. Dogs over seven months must be spayed or neutered. Puppies under 12 weeks, sick dogs, dogs in heat and aggressive dogs are excluded. Do not bring toys, food, glass, prong collars or spike collars. Fill any hole your dog digs.
