The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our small engineering team and help develop our next generation of packaged mechanical systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer who enjoys practical design, improving products and working closely with manufacturing. You will have meaningful responsibility for how our systems are designed, built and improved.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee engineering deliverables, including project quotations, customer submittals and production drawings.
- Standardize equipment designs, components and bills of materials to improve manufacturing efficiency, cost and quality.
- Improve existing systems and lead the development of new products, including booster pump packages and water treatment systems.
- Work closely with production, procurement, sales and suppliers to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure engineering designs meet applicable technical standards and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; Ontario P.Eng. preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, ideally with a manufacturer of packaged mechanical or industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation and equipment fabrication.
- Experience with CAD design, engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical staff and manage multiple projects.
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in packaged pumping systems, HVAC equipment, industrial process skids or water treatment equipment would be an asset. Direct water industry experience is not required.
